I read it after my toddler had to give some blood for a routine exam, nothing serious, but as you can imagine, it was a terrible way to end a Tuesday. He’s finally asleep, and I’m so tired, but also so encouraged to keep writing because of the way words like yours make me feel. Alive. Less alone. Brave. I had an ectopic pregnancy as well. Emergency surgery was done to remove it. I didn't realize they used to shots.
